Just Kids Dental Program
Just Kids Dental is a school-based dental health program focused on providing children in Kindergarten through 8th grade with oral health education and preventive dental care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments and sealants. These services are at no charge to either the school district or eligible families and administered by a local hygienist...right within Superior schools!

Children are eligible if enrolled on Wisconsin Medicaid (such as Badgercare and Forward Health) or families are uninsured and income eligible within free/reduced lunch guidelines. Consent forms are available from the school’s nurse or secretary. Please note: a signed parental consent must be returned to the school nurse before a child may receive dental services.
Healthy children feel better in schools, which helps our efforts to educate. Tooth decay is the most common disease among children...it is also largely preventable! By providing dental care in the schools, children can easily access necessary preventive care in order to stay healthy! Please contact your school nurse to enroll your child in the Just Kids Dental program.

Employment Opportunity
Health Assistant, 6.5 hours per day at Great Lakes Elementary School.
Interested applicants must submit required materials using the School Stream (job application software) located on the School District of Superior website www.superior.k12.wi.us, under Employment link. Register in School Stream, and follow instructions to make the application.
The School District of Superior is also looking for an R.N. or L.P.N. to be a sub school Health Assistant. This is a very rewarding part time job with great hours. No weekends or Holidays! If interested or you have questions, please call the District Board Office at 394-8700.
