The Northern Lights Family Resource Center is a community support program that provides services to enhance parent-child interaction, reduce family stress, improve family functioning, and provide community support.
Parenting is an important responsibility. All families can benefit from sound parenting information and support. Parents who participate in Center activities will:
- Improve family relationships
- Learn what to expect as their child grows
- Learn effective discipline techniques
- Develop stress management skills
- Have opportunities to share ideas with other parents
- Have home visitation available
- Have connections to outside resources and agencies
All Douglas County Families are welcome to use the services of the Center FREE of charge.
