Home Visiting
What is home visiting? A home visit is defined as a program which includes the visitation with parents and children at the home by a trained professional. The concept behind home visiting is simple. Home visiting allows teachers and parents to come together, in a unique setting, as equal partners, in building and promoting happy and healthy families.
Home visiting is a great resource for new parents as well as experienced ones. The Family Resource Center welcomes news parents with a gift bag of goodies for both the parent and the new baby. This is a great resource for parents who are looking for new activities to do with their toddler or preschooler. The home visitor will bring age appropriate materials and activities to your home.
For more information about home visiting, please contact the Family Resource Center at 395-5657.
